is like reading a Who’s Who in organizational
effectiveness and development consulting. The
Northeastern Consulting Team members have years of
training and experience in organizational consulting
and leadership development. They all have advanced
degrees in applied social sciences and several of
them either currently teach or have taught at the
undergraduate and/or graduate level in several
universities and institutions around the country.
The Northeastern Consulting Team cares about you and your business. Many of them have been part of the management in the organizations they support and therefore understand the direction and business challenges their clients face. They consciously entered the field of organizational development to provide a level of support that is both personal and professional and leads to their clients’ success. Dave Fleck, President and Principal Consultant
Dave
founded the company 10 years ago and specializes in
consulting to world leaders in Health Care, Financial
Services, Telecommunications, E-commerce and
Manufacturing. Prior to beginning Northeastern, Dave
was a Director of Organizational Effectiveness with
Johnson and Johnson's pharmaceutical business and the
Team Leader for the Organization Development (OD)
consulting practice in AT&T's consumer business.
Earlier in his career, Dave was a member of the
management team at AT&T Bell Laboratories (now a
part of Lucent Technologies) and has held management
positions with Raytheon Company as well as the United
States Government. For several years Dave was an
Adjunct professor in the graduate program at
Polytechnic University in New York. He holds a
Masters degree in Organizational Consulting from
Seattle's City University - Leadership Institute of
Seattle and a Bachelors degree in Sociology (Summa
Cum Laude) from the State University of New York.
Dave is certified in Wilson Learning Social Styles,
Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Drexler-Sibbet
High Performing Team Model and Coaching/Consulting in
Whole Systems IQ.
Lois Campbell, Vice President and Senior Consultant
Lois
specializes in facilitating leadership and group
effectiveness. She assists organizations to
effectively manage change and growth through stronger
work relationships, increased communication skills,
viable organizational plans, and enhanced leadership
capacity. Lois teaches in Carlow College’s Masters in
Professional Leadership Program. She holds a Masters
Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Seattle’s
City University and is a certified mediator with the
Pittsburgh Mediation Center.
Mary Beth Larkin, Vice President and Senior Consultant
Mary
Beth specializes in executive development and
coaching and assisting organizations and teams to
successfully manage growth and high performance
through large-scale change implementation, process
improvement, and mergers and acquisitions cultural
integration. Prior to joining Northeastern, Mary Beth
held various Organizational Development and Human
Resources generalist and specialist positions across
her 22-year career within the Johnson & Johnson
Family of Companies supporting global efforts across
the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Consumer
businesses. Mary Beth holds a Masters of Science in
Human Resource Development from Rutgers University
and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Administration from Monmouth University. She is
certified in various individual, team, and executive
team development assessments, organizational survey
development and analysis, She also served as internal
faculty for multiple training workshops focused on
ethical decision-making, conflict resolution, legal
awareness and change leadership.
Dona-Maria Vages, VP, Sr. Consultant & Certified Emotional Intelligence Expert
Dona-Maria is an
intercultural consultant specializing in assisting
organizations to successfully manage and effectively
use their human resources as a competitive advantage.
Her focus is on the effective management of
organizational transitions, building inclusive work
environments, and developing associate capability
throughout the US and Europe. Dona holds a Masters of
Science in Human Resource Development from Suffolk
University and a Bachelor of Science Degree (cum
laude) in Business Administration from Northeastern
University. She is an adjunct instructor at the
graduate level at universities in Massachusetts and
in Florida. Previous corporate experience at AT&T
and Lucent Technologies in Human Resource and
Organization Development were dedicated to management
development, work redesign and leading global virtual
teams.
N. Dini Checko, Senior Consultant
Dini
offers an appreciative and intuitive approach to
coaching, training and development, and
organizational effectiveness. She uses her diverse
background, education, and experience to help
understand the perspective and needs of other people
and to aid them in being more effective as
individuals within an organization. Dini holds an
M.A. degree from Columbia University in
Organizational Psychology and a B.S. degree from the
School of Business at Rutgers University. She is
certified as a Coach/Consultant in Whole System IQ
from The Leading Clinic. Dini is a member of the NJ
Organizational Development
Network.
Gil Crosby, MSW, Senior Consultant
Gil
began his Organizational and Leadership Development
career in 1984, following enthusiastically in his
father's (Robert Crosby) footsteps. Gil has held
Organizational Development and Change Management
positions with Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station and
EDS. Gil recently published his first book, Fight,
Flight, Freeze: Taming Your Reptilian Brain and Other
practical Approaches to Self-Improvement, Eloquent
Press, New York, New York, 2008. He has also
published numerous articles, and has served as
adjunct faculty to Martin University (Indianapolis,
IN) and The Leadership Institute of Seattle. He
spends about 50% of his time working internationally,
and is widely respected for his impactful
interventions, whether coaching with individuals or
working on large scale systems change.
Amy Flynn, Senior Consultant
Amy has
worked in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device and
Diagnostic industries for over 18 years across a
variety of functional areas including operations,
marketing and business development. Amy has led
major change initiatives from both the client and
consulting side that include mergers, acquisitions
and partnerships as well as internally driven
change. She combines a strong process
orientation with an interest in internally driven
motivation to effectively shift organizational
thinking and action toward a long term vision.
Amy holds an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from
Temple University, an MBA from Rutgers Graduate
School of Management, and a BS in Engineering from
Rutgers College of Engineering.
Paul Forti, PhD, Senior HR Business Consultant and Psychologist
Dr.
Forti provides executive coaching and management
consulting services. He brings his value-added skills
and human resources expertise to organizations in the
area of career management, assessments, employee
motivation, team facilitation and organizational
development. A key strength of Dr. Forti is his
ability to provide effective leadership and
collaborative problem solving skills, which form the
essential foundation necessary to implement all
strategic change initiatives.
Pam Madison, Senior Consultant
Pam
specializes in the development of emotionally
intelligent leadership through individual coaching
and experiential workshops. She has a wealth of
experience facilitating large-scale, work team, and
individual change. Her clients have consistently
achieved bottom-line results, hitting cost reduction,
productivity, throughput, and other targeted goals.
She is an expert on survey-feedback and related
processes. Pam has applied these skills facilitating
leadership and communication skill development in
corporate, manufacturing, governmental, non-profit
and educational environments as a consultant,
employee and manager. Pam holds a MA degree in
Applied Behavioral Science through Whitworth College,
with a strong mix of international and domestic
experience. She is a Coach/Counselor Licensed in WA
State, and is a former Adjunct Faculty and Systems
Consultant/Coach/Counselor for the Leadership
Institute of Seattle (LIOS) Masters in Organizational
and Corporate Leadership Program.
Marsha Montgomery, Senior Consultant
Marsha
has over 20 years of management and consulting
experience for Fortune 100 and mid-size clients in
multiple industries. Areas of expertise include
strategy implementation, organizational
transformation, business process improvement, change
management, and operations and supply chain
effectiveness. Marsha has successfully led projects
in R & D, Facilities and Engineering,
Manufacturing and Quality, Sales and Marketing as
well as Finance and Accounting. Marsha has an
extensive background working with Life Sciences
companies of all sizes. Marsha has an accounting
degree from William & Mary & an MBA from
UVA’s Darden Graduate School of Business. She have
worked for Price Waterhouse, Corporation for Public
Broadcasting and Corning in functions ranging from
manufacturing management to account & customer
service management.
Dean Robb, PhD, Senior Consultant
Dean's
primary area of expertise is organizational and
business renewal and innovation. He also has strong
capabilities in several fields which support that
primary goal, including: strategy development and
implementation; business, operational and functional
performance improvement; change management;
leadership and team development; and executive
coaching. Dean has personally worked with clients
such as GE Capital, Fidelity Investments, Nationwide
Insurance, Prudential Insurance, Hewlett-Packard,
Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals, CR Bard, Children’s
Hospital of Chicago, Saudi Aramco, CITGO, Verizon,
AT&T, and Telebahia. Over the past 15 years,
Dean’s writing has appeared in The Handbook of
Business Strategy, Executive Insights, The CEO
Refresher, CEO Factor, CEO Online Expert Talk,
Leadership Excellence, Brand Republic,
